What are your chances of receiving funding for a municipal green space project if you do not live in a large urban centre? Better than you may have thought!

BIG Online client the City of Enderby, a quiet and scenic community nestled in the beautiful North Okanagan Valley, has shown that size and the urban connection are not the only vital ingredients for success - natural splendour, neighbourhood partnerships and recreation are all featured in a series of successful and innovative partnerships by this community.

The City had a vision of a riverside trail development for the enjoyment of local citizens as well as tourists. Several funders have anted up so far including BC2000 with a $69,205 CommunitySpirit Grant.

Congratulations to Enderby for an inspired project and excellent fundraising!
